Little Bottle Spice Co. has captured their favorite flavors to create the perfect Spice Blends to add to your recipe repertoire!  


Flavor: Medium heat! This is where it all began! Our Original recipe blends 4 different chiles for a complex, rich flavor profile. Great on just about anything!

Favorite recipes: Chili, but the Original blend can be used in any recipe calling for chili powder. Sprinkle on eggs, vegetables, and dips to add a burst of flavor.

Ingredients: sweet paprika, cumin, ancho chile, chipotle chile, pasilla negro chile, fennel seed, hatch new Mexico red chile, yellow mustard seed, garlic powder, onion powder, Mexican oregano, black pepper.


Flavor: Medium sweet heat! The ROJO blend combines Korean and cayenne chile with coriander, caraway, spearmint, honey powder, and other spices for a truly balanced, unique flavor.

Favorite recipes: Add to ground chicken, turkey, pork, or beef for tacos, nachos, sloppy joes, and more! Great on grilled chicken or use in a marinade on chicken, pork, beef, or vegetable kabobs.

Ingredients: Guajillo chile, sea salt, smoked sweet paprika, tomato powder, granulated garlic, granulated honey, cumin, Korean chile flakes, cayenne pepper, caraway seed, minced onion, black pepper, coriander, crushed spearmint.


Flavor: Medium heat; bright and citrusy. The heat from Cayenne is balanced nicely by cinnamon, nutmeg, Vermont Maple Sugar, and other herbs and spices for Jerk flavor, not burn! 

Favorite recipes: Grilled chicken thighs; chicken or pork kabobs; sprinkle on grilled, seared, or broiled seafood.

Ingredients: Vermont maple sugar, sea salt, sweet paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, yellow mustard seed, cumin, Korean chile flakes, minced onion, thyme, cayenne pepper, ginger powder, nutmeg, lemon peel, orange peel, allspice, Vietnamese cinnamon.


Flavor: Medium heat! Coffee, cocoa, herbs, and spices blend together for a distinctive Java flavor!

Favorite recipes: Steak or pork tenderloin. THE JAVA blend can also be used on grilled chicken. Wonderful in red eye chili. 

Ingredients: Sea salt, organic coconut sugar, coffee, ancho chile, Pasilla negro chile, sweet paprika, organic cacao powder, granulated garlic, minced onion, yellow mustard seed, coriander, black pepper, orange peel, Korean chile flakes, Vietnamese cinnamon, turmeric, Mexican oregano, cumin, ginger.

Their story: 

"We have been home cooks together for over 20 years. Flavor is important to us and we’ve attempted to recreate many of the wonderful flavors we’ve experienced from kitchens everywhere. At first, we found ourselves making our own spice blends to use as rubs on grilled meats. By experimenting, we discovered that many could be used in other entrees, sauces and side dishes.

Shortly after relocating to Vermont, we bottled a batch of our favorite spice blend and gave them as Christmas gifts to many relatives and friends. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. This gave us the incentive to do it again the next year with a new flavor. This time, friends and family asked for more and said they would be willing to buy it from us.

Well, one thing led to another and today we find ourselves bottling our spice blends to sell to other home cooks! Our customers told us that they wanted spice with very little salt (most spice blends or rubs use salt as a filler) and they wanted to be able to use a spice blend for more than just grilling. We have developed many recipes that allow home cooks to create multiple entrees with one bottle of spice."
