Made in Vermont by Vermonters.

At Vermont’s Own, we celebrate our local artists, makers, innovators, and maple syrup-extraordinaires  — our friends and neighbors, our community members — and take pride in sharing their diverse talents and handcrafted goods with you.

With a focus on high-quality design, thoughtfully sourced materials, and treasures that truly speak to the slow-paced, inspired-by-nature way of Vermont life, we delight in offering you a unique one-stop-shop to discover Vermont’s finest makers, no matter how big or small.

Vermont’s Own Gifts and Goods first opened their doors in 1986 with the idea of bringing together the very best products in the Green Mountain State.

Today, this is a commitment that is lovingly carried on by new shop owner Abbey LaMay-West, who recently took over for Dana Franklin, the original owner of 30 years.

Abbey has worked and managed the shop for years, known for her love of woodworking and crafting, raising chickens, and karaoke. (Yes, you’ll likely hear her in the shop humming and singing along to the radio.)

She is especially excited to add a touch of her own personality and passion to the shop’s curated collection.

We invite you to take a look around. Browse for a few or stay for a while.

We’re confident you’ll fall in love with Vermont’s charm, too.
