This small batch pure Vermont maple syrup is traditionally handcrafted in rustic sugarhouses deep in the rolling hills of Vermont. It is made on small family farms over crackling wood fires with family and friends gathered around. The sap from the maple trees is collected and then boiled in small batches; there are no other ingredients – just pure maple syrup.

The Vermont Maple Farmers Collective is a collaboration among small family farms in the hills of Vermont. They are dairy farmers, vegetable farmers, and flower farmers. They raise animals and we operate sawmills. They are carpenters, plumbers, and stonemasons. Crafting small-batch pure Vermont maple syrup is their common link and their passion.

The Vermont Maple Farmers Collective sugar independently but sell collectively under the same 'Maple Farmers' label. They use some modern technologies to improve efficiency, but their maple sugaring operations are small and traditional. They fuel with firewood instead of fuel oil. As farmers who are connected to their land, they work hard to ensure that their maple syrup production is sustainable for generations to come.
